This Privacy Policy explains how Toquio ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application (the “App”) and related services. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

  • Information You Enter into Toquio: This includes meal plans you create, recipes you add, nutrition or weight data you manually enter, and any responses to our communications.

  • Device Information: We collect information about the device you are using Toquio on, including the type of device, operating system, IP address, device settings, device identifiers, and crash data.

  • Toquio Usage Data: We collect analytics on actions performed by users within the App to help us understand and improve the App.


2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Providing the Toquio Service: We use the information you provide to offer a personalized experience. This includes tailored meal plans and reminders sent through the App or via email.

  • Understanding and Improving the Product: We analyze usage data to understand user behaviors and improve the App’s features.

  • Responding to Your Feedback: If you contact us with a problem or question, we use your information to respond and address your concerns.


3. Data Retention and Deletion
We will retain your personal data as long as you maintain an account with Toquio. We will also retain your personal data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If we no longer need to retain your data for these purposes, we will delete it from our systems.

You may delete your Toquio account directly from the app settings or by contacting us at developper@toquio.fr. Upon a deletion request, we will permanently and irreversibly delete your personal data from our systems.

4. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share user information in the following scenarios:

  • With Consent: If we have your consent, we may share your information with a third party.

  • To Comply with Legal Requirements: If we believe that disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request, we may share your information. Where legally permitted, we will provide prior notice to the subject of the request.

Toquio uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to Toquio. Using unsecured Wi-Fi or unprotected networks is not recommended. If we learn of a security breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically so you can take appropriate protective steps.

6. Our Commitment to the Privacy of Children
Toquio is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you learn that a minor has provided information without your consent, please contact us at developper@toquio.fr. If we learn that a child has provided information without parental consent, we will delete that information.

7. Information for Individuals in Switzerland, UK, and the EEA
If you use Toquio while in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

In the event of our bankruptcy or insolvency, we may not be able to control how your information is treated, transferred, or used.

We may update this policy from time to time. If you continue to use Toquio after any changes become effective, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice or seek your consent to the new policy.
